Saint Patrick Themed Tour

Saint Patrick Themed Tour

Donna lives in the shadow of the 2 magnificent St Patrick's Cathedrals in Armagh.  She has years of experience leading visitors and locals alike (large & small groups, couples or individuals) on walking tours of this city the Ecclesiastical capital of Ireland. Donna has guided groups along the picturesque St Patrick’s trail between Armagh & Downpatrick. On her tours visitors have enjoyed climbing to the summit of Slieve Patrick to see the largest statue in the world dedicated to St Patrick and to take in the breath-taking views of Strangford Lough and beyond. They visited the site of Saul Church, the first church St Patrick founded when he returned to Ireland as a Bishop. Along the way you will be captivated by stories of St Patrick, St Brigid and other well known Irish Saints e.g. did you know St Patrick is also the patron saint of Nigeria, French Fisherman and Engineers? Not many people know that St Brigid was ordained as a bishop by St Mel the nephew of St Patrick!

Donna can develop a bespoke tour for any individual or a group of any size in English or French, she also has links with guides who speak a whole range of languages ranging from Cantonese to Catalan.  She can plan your itinerary down to booking your transport from a reputable accredited coach company or chauffeur, as well as restaurant bookings and advice on places to visit, entry fees etc.  At request she can accompany the group as their own personal tour guide in between venues or arrange an associate guide from NITGA. It is advisable to book in advance particularly during high season April to October. Donna is a member of the N I Tourist Guide Association (NITGA) with a large network of qualified guides which she can recommend if she is not available herself.
