Would you like to savour a delicious afternoon tea prepared by one of the top Head Chefs in Northern Ireland? The fantastic menu includes a selection of open & finger sandwiches including Coronation chicken, Givans ham & Irish cheddar cheese, with mouthwatering local specialties such as smoked salmon or smoked Lough Neagh eel on freshly baked Irish wheaten bread. You absolutely have to try the Head Chef’s Ulster Buttermilk scones and homemade shortbread and of course, you have to leave room for mini lemon fondant tartlets, or what about Armagh Bramley Apple & vanilla cream mousse - just some of the choices on the top tier of 3 tiers because the Afternoon Tea is served on a traditional cake stand and the service is 2nd to none. These are just a few of the choices on the Afternoon Tea Tour, which are accompanied by tastings of Long Meadow cider or apple juice produced in Orchards less than 10 miles from Armagh City and a welcome cup of tea or coffee.

Donna has provided her guiding services for the tourism department of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council on a variety of occasions. Just a quick note to thank you for a very relaxed and informative day on Saturday.I hope our group will be able to plan a good few days out based on all the information we gathered up from you and all the participants.We were very pleased with all the information provided at each ‘county’ and were amazed at what is on offer on our doorstep!! The participants were all very friendly and welcoming.

We hope that we will get another opportunity to meet you again at a similar event or as a guide for our group, your presence on the coach and throughout the day really enhanced our experience.

This year we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the French Exchange Programme between St Catherine’s College, Armagh & St Paul, Bourdon Blanc, Orléans. During the visit of our French friends in March we enlisted the services of Donna Fox who gave the group a guided tour of Armagh city in both French and English. It was the first time we had a professional Guide and we were so much the richer for Donna’s input. She pitched the level perfectly and our year 11 and 12 students from both countries benefited greatly from her informative and entertaining commentary, as did the teachers.
